Passover, Easter, and Spring!

It's starting to look and feel like Spring out there. We just love this time of year when the weather warms up, the buds come out, we have seeds and plant starts to sell, tulips and daffodils are aplenty, and the produce bounty of spring is just about to pop!

We also have two spring holidays upon us. Passover starts Monday and Easter is next Sunday. So much opportunity for good food!

For Passover, we are cooking up a storm to help you with your Seder needs. We'll have chopped liver, charoset, Emily's grandma's mazto ball soup, and flourless chocolate cakes and macaroons from our in-house pastry chef (ahem... Jeanlouise). Check out our menu online and if you are in need of a brisket, feel free to order online or let us know in the shop by Sunday afternoon.

We will have not one, not two, but THREE kinds of matzo: traditional Kosher for Passover mazto, "grandma" matzo from The Matzo Project, a small artisanal producer in Brooklyn, and matzo made right here in DC from PollyStyle (she makes some awesome Easter Bunny graham crackers too!)

Easter will be here soon too but Each Peach has been stocked with Easter candy, cards, and spring flowers for weeks already (thanks to Eleanor's forethought and Easter candy obsession!) We have a full range of chocolate bunnies and eggs and Easter baskets for you to fill with goodies. Easter themed greeting cards, natural Easter egg dying kits, spring flower bouquets, and daffodil and hyacinth plants are all in stock to help you celebrate the holiday. Consider pre-ordering your boneless leg of lamb or spiral ham online for your Easter dinner.
