Honestly, we’ve always been a bit doe-eyed over everything being made by Naomi and her team over at Le Bon Magot, but this newest conserve caught us by surprise. On the outside, it says carrots. But open this jar and it’s like WOW! Fireworks. The demure carrot has been given some serious bite. It’s savory from its mixture of coriander and mustard powder. The sweetness has extreme depth thanks to jaggery and a mix of dried fruits. It’s aromatic! It’s addictive. We can’t stop eating it. 

You could definitely pair it with one of our alpine cheeses and charcuterie - but this chutney also shines on its own. Know what it’s particularly good with? Fresh, hot naan bread. Luckily, we’ve got some by Saffron Road in the freezer that is just perfect popped into the oven. Cooked in a tandoor oven, this light, fluffy naan is as close to the real deal as you can get (without actually getting a tandoor oven and starting from scratch...which, you know. Good for you if you do).
